coaching for raising cultural awareness

People live and work in diverse environments where cultural differences exist and can be easily misunderstood or ignored and fostering cultural awareness is often an overlooked or underrepresented component.Understanding and managing these differences, looking for similarities can lead to greater collaboration, learning and growth.

The Cultural Orientation Framework (work of Prof Phillipe Rosinski, Global Coach) is an intercultural assessment tool which enables comparison of an individual’s cultural profile with those of various national cultures. The aim is for individuals to explore their cultural orientations and preferences and gauge the similarities and differences with people with differing cultural orientations.

The COF is multidimensional and flexible. With 17 dimensions, the COF highlights preferences and biases and explores limiting norms, values and beliefs. This facilitates identifying new possibilities and new options to increase creativity, versatility and effectiveness.
